A personal tragedy and a want to further my layor masking skills in THE G.I.M.P. fueled this Deviation. I'll likely work out it's kinks and resubmit at a later date.

[ It was hard to keep this rated PG, I despaired over covering this models... parts..., She's got one of those bodies thats so nice it's ultimately unfair, like the universe is saying "Hey, look boy, here's something you'll never know" There are just some nudes that make it hard to stay professional. Check out her beautiful self here Her attention to simple backgrounds makes her stock a breeze to work with.]

---------------------------------------------------------

I was 14, when I saw an add in the back of a popular science magazine that said "The secrets of Alchemy, finding the philosophers stone" Something about the words "Philosophers stone" grabbed my attention and I saved my allowance and ordered the book.

Of course, the book was a crock, but that gave me all the more reason to look for something that wasn't. In that search, I came across numerous documents dealing with the occult, and I quickly became addicted to the ancient mysteries. I learned about Neo-Paganism and began nurturing my relationship with the God and the Goddess.
When my parents said I would be spending some of my High-school years in Europe and the Mediterranean I saw this as an instant opportunity to divulge.

When I was 17, visiting the Oracle at Delphi, I met my mentor, a 37 year old Italian Strega (Witch) named Aurelia who was taking pictures for a magazine she published out of her basement.

Lia became first my teacher, then my lover until an early menopause took the passion from her, and after that she remained a dear friend.
We used to lay naked together for hours just contemplating old pantheons and what "La Vecchia Religione" still had to offer the world. It was her great passion.

Lia passed away last week from the complications of her multiple sclerosis.
This is for her.

This is a beautiful photomanip. I've been to Greece several times, but I've never visited the Oracle of Delphi. I think I'm going to go there this summer.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend.:(

It's a fascinating place, if you ever get the oppertunity make sure you take the time. It's strange because the area around it is not pretty like a lot of Greece is. But the temple itself is beautiful. I got vertigo there big time.

Thank you for the kind words :)
