Remove from my lids these eyes that keep,
Studious record of the strangers heart.
Tremulous, receding ebb.
As the echo of truculennt impulse
or the refraining lips of despondent love.
Returning, masochistic.
The courage of my soul lay curdled
By the witnessing of affections innumerable.
Lovers kiss upon the thrusted stage,
My part the rigid pointillism in the distant ether.
Myself a vouyer of my own sorrow,
Here likened to a cup over burdened.
Melting glacier tips to burst the membrane,
Fragile on the edge of it's world.
The avatar of heartache, blazing
Salt spiced trails and finally...
Airborne droplets with greater destinies
Than the soul that owned them.
