Please... Please learn the difference... It'll save lives.

...Just a pet peeve of mine. Emo people may often claim to be "A little Goth" But trust me, most Goths don't entertain the thought of a similarity.

Confusion on this topic is rampant on DA. Educate.

Thank you so much! Exactly what I've been trying to tell people!
If only I could wear this over my head so people would stop calling me "emo bunny".
Goths aren't whiny little babies that think their life is so traumatic.

haha, no doubt. I've contemplated a tattoo to the same effect.
I find it funny how people's idea of emo has gravitated toward Goth... Because when emo started it was all about geek fashion, plaid shorts and horn rimmed glasses. I haven't been able to track exactly when the shift occured. But I hate it.
:icondeadrabbit13:
even then, there's still a rather distinct difference. The emos know I'm not one of them.
'guess it has to do with the fact that I keep my hands and arms covered, leading people to think i'm a cutter. Not that these same people haven't seen my wrists exposed and perfectly free of scars...well, except that one burn...
